New phase in the construction of fiber optic networks

What is currently going on in the field of infrastructure and data communication in the Benelux? “A lot is happening when it comes to our work area,” according to Edo Kweldam, chairman of the SCTE Benelux Group. “Infrastructure in particular is in the spotlight.”

Kweldam mentions the major activity in the field of fiber optic networks as an example. “Take the situation in the Netherlands. Many fiber optic networks have been installed in the less densely populated eastern part of this country. Large market parties are now taking the initiative to install fiber optics in both rural areas as well as large cities. They see infrastructure as a solid investment. A new phase has really begun in the construction of fiber optic networks.”
